Picnic at Hanging Rock Appreciation Post: Episode 1
Some dreamy moments to celebrate Episode 1 of the 2018 remake of Picnic at Hanging Rock
The 2018 mini series Picnic at Hanging Rock is so beautiful and I think very nicely captures and updates the haunting, dreamy, ethereal aesthetics we all know and love from the original 1975 movie. I watched it the first time via renting from the library, and fortunately now its on CBC Gem.
Here are some screen shots from Episode 1 just to appreciate how beautiful it is.
I won't write about the actual episode to avoid spoilers, though this post does contain a great deal of screen shots.
